Excellent This seemed much more advanced than the most recent bottle consumed a year ago, March 2023. That's strange, because both were from the same purchase and were stored the same - the first 3 1/2 years after taking possession in Dec. 2014 in a home storage unit, fully dark with seasonal fluctuations low-mid-50s to mid-60s F followed by offsite store at 55 F. Hmmm...
From Coravin the first night and perhaps it came across heavy due to having sat with a glass of Morgon for an hour prior. Not exactly baked, but quite rich and not quite in balance. Since the Tablas Creek vintage chart shows mature but also wanting a decant, I did that the second night for a couple hours and have to say that while rich and soft for Tablas Esprit, it was still such a pleasure to drink. Mourvedre and Syrah showing their muscle at 40% and 30%, respectively. Some earth, eucalyptus, baking spices, dark chocolate, plum. Very nice.
I brought the remaining few bottles home into 62 F storage. Not sure if I should look to consume them all in the next year or maybe put one or two back to offsite. Thoughts welcome...

More Northern Rhône than Californian in temperament, this is drinking beautifully right now. Velvety and lush, it’s food friendly and offers nice secondary notes in addition to ample fruit. The Esprit is usually long lived. But I can’t imagine this getting any better with more age. Outstanding.

W smoked ribs (first try) from Greenegg. Ribs not perfectly cooked, but know what i did wrong (not hot and long enough). Good combo though! This wine is really excellent, ithas body freshness and length. Really good at 11 years. This will live for quite some more time - i would dare 10+ years. Didnt prep and just grabbed it from basement.

Recent TN are spot on. The wine needed 90 minutes of air then really came to life. Dark fruits, forest floor, leather, and wood. The wine has a great balance, nice acidity, and resolved tannins. The finish is long. I recently had the 2011 and this is drinking way better and is in the good drinking window.

Soft cork that crumbled. Wine was still very good but felt a little oxidized.
