Deep, gorgeous nose of vosne spice, rose petals, and vibrant red fruits. The palate is lean to medium in body, showing tart red fruits, medium plus spice, with good freshness, and integrated tannins that are still active in a quiet way. Finishes gracefully, medium in length. This was a spectacular effort for this village wine, very representative of Vosne. Was also a passively stored bottle bought on release through a direct import program.

Took a gamble on Wine Commune on this bottle. Unfortunatly, this was past it's prime. Very oaky at first, then went right to the vegital characteristic found in over the hill wines. Drink 'em if you've got 'em!

Light brick red in color, cherries, earth, and warm spices (ginger, cinnamon, clove) on the nose. Cherries, very spicey, smoke, and a touch of toast on the palate, finishing with soft tannins and balancing acidity. Also very hot on the finish. Could probably use another year or so in the bottle, but no more than that.

Near outstanding. Started out that way, with classic Vosne-Romanee characteristics and great nose/body/finish. As bottle 'opened-up' seemed a bit more astringent and had a slight rhubarb note on the nose. A slight bit tart and rough as I finished the bottle. Not many tannins left suggesting this is a drink now/short term bottle. I would go over the next 2-3 years. One note, I drank this with minimal 'food support' and thing with some of the acidity that shown through, this wine would be significantly better with food. My mistake there.
