First Wednesday Wine Club (Francobollo, Haberfield): "Served blind Pretty whole bunch, red berry and cherry, smells crunchy, young. Juicy, savoury, a little bitterness lends complexity rather than distracts from the red fruit, textured burr, balanced. Yum. Australian Pinot Noir, Victoria, 2018"

A lovely and well structured wine, it would put many expensive Burgundy wines to shame. A well balanced bouquet of cherry and raspberry with some spice, the body was savoury, autumnal with the oak well integrated. A nice lingering finish to finish the whole show. Plenty of acid left to keep the machine humming for a while longer.
Drink now or 3+ years.

More typical with some spice and acid sear. Cherry and a little stink. A keeper for sure.
