It was very top shoulder when it left France and mid-shoulder at best when it arrived in Australia. It had more leaks than The Australian Labor Party. It was very oxidised on the nose with plenty of nuttiness and some honey and caramel. In the mouth it had incredible density with a vinous sweet core. Had the cork not failed I suspect this would have been brilliant.
