Sadly my last bottle. Albeit some of the fruit has dissipated this is a classic Brunello. Refined and elegant.

Sadly mu last bottle. A lovely Brunello, perhaps less fruit than earlier on. Decanted for 45 minutes, but was very elegant and refined.

Still my favourite Brunello on this showing. Not getting tired at all so might even have another level to go to but I've only got one left to find out. Such a focussed cherry driven fruit profile - perfectly in balance. Intoxicating on the palate displaying Sangiovese in its finest form. Had a 2007 Riserva the other day from Il Poggione and this straight-up Brunello was way better.

Approachable immediately upon opening and gets better within 30mins. No decant required. Drinking beautifully right now.
