Drinking beautifully, almost young like she is three years old. On the nose, black cherries, raspberries, and beautiful medium toasted new and 2/3 second fill French oak. On the pallet, still has an acid backbone but no young acid left; matured. Plenty of minerality and complexity. black fruit notes, with black raspberries, silky and smooth. After taste, is mineral with a dryness and a rich tongue feel. Drinking in its prime, but will age for a good more years before taking on its secondary notes. I wish i had another bottle to tuck away for another 5 years to reassess. Assuming it would still stand strong and vibrant but would develop more femininity and delicacy. Rivaling top houses of Burgundy with an American twist.

PnD let air for 1hr. Earthy cherry touch of plum cola and cedar on the nose. Medium(-) weight with astringent cherry skin tannins. Macerated cherry touch of cola raspberry and rhubarb on the palate. A touch astringent and extracted. Not worth the Blue Mountain premium.

Cherry, oak and spice. A bit rough with tannins still noticeable. May be still young. Will open my another bottle next year to see.
