Purple and color in color. First nose of sark fruit and wet stone. Opens up with dark fruit, blueberry, strawberry, baking spice, and cedar. Smooth all the way through mouthfeel. Very limited tanins and slightly dry finish. Flavors of blueberry and plum.

Still quite a bit of tannin left in this, especially right out of the bottle. Softens some after being open for a couple of hours. Black cherry aroma with a bit of herb.
More cherry on the initial taste, with a bit of spice and the telltale chalk/dryness that comes with the tannin. Soft finish that makes you want to take another sip immediately.
Having a second bottle of this, will likely leave laid down for a couple more years.

As in previous note: big fruit balanced by bright acidity, long soft tannins

Moderate acidity and big soft tannins
Three hour decant. Soft black fruit on palate, very approachable: for mefium term drinking rather than long haul
