This 2004 was notably the most mature and probably nearing the end of peak drinking. Great structure, oak present and fully integrated, fruit is hanging in there, wonderful example of aged Washington vino.

Secret Crush (Gerding Theater, Portland): Finely integrated Bordeaux blend. Tannins are impressively smooth, with no hint of alcohol heat on the nose or finish. Fruit is all cherry. Finish has some wood, I'm thinking cedar or pine.

Thought this has really aged to perfection. Very nice nose, fruit and finish all the way through. Drink now if you have them.
