The JH needed some time to blow off a bit of funk but displayed a spicy and intense palate that aligned with the nose. Texturally I wanted more. 15% and thin 🤷♂️

Classic Heathcote shiraz. Dark colour. Musk, Turkish delight, satsuma plums on the nose. Medium to full bodied, with blackberry fruit, backed up by a tail of tannin and acid. Don't read my note - drink some Georgia's Paddock!

Characteristic deep purple colour. Legs fifteen with this wine all on display around the glass bowl. Nose is superb with dark red fruits, chocolate and eucalyptus. Tasting the wine is like being hit with Thor’s hammer - packs a pinch of dark plum, blackberry and finishing with a long leather and cigarette finish. Tannins grip the gums. Lovely drinking now if you love bold fruit driven wine and will age gracefully with further cellaring.

Billiet's Sexy Syrah's (Billiets Abode): Some bandaid, dark fruits and spice on the nose. Finish on the palate well-integrated and comes off better than the nose does. Some spice carrying through on the finish as well. Group 5/6 (my 4/6).

Undrinkable at the moment. So young and green, even after hours of decanting. There is potential underneath, but you have to wait for it for another three year minimum.
