  The sweetness made this killer with spicy Thai food. That was a much better pairing than crab legs which was the second night we had it.

  Prior bottle was 3 years and 9 months ago and this wine continues to show exceptionally well. Honey, clover, floral notes, spice qualities and peach on the nose. Medium bodied (8.5% ABV) with tart peach and apple upfront with a mix of white fruit qualities and slightly richer yellow fruit notes. Mid-body gains density and shows orange and pineapple, balanced by nicely tart citrus. The contrast between the two elements allow the honey qualities to come off as richness, rather than overt sweetness. This in turn works very well with the minerals and acidity on the finish. This wine feels nearly as young as my first bottle back in February 2017 and the interplay between the fruit and acidity promise a long life and more complexity to come. I'm going to be hard pressed to resist these in 2021, but will try to wait until at least November 2021, or better yet, June/July 2022.

  Yellow-green; high intensity aromatics with lime, pear, peach, white fruit, a mineral/slate component; palate is medium bodied, white fleshy fruit throughout but backed by a high acid spine, a bit of petrol, low alcohol (8.5%), some sweetness but more in balance and refreshing than noticeable; medium length finish. Not the most complex Auslese riesling, but impeccable balance and very enjoyable on a warm March day. 93

  Very pale green gold colour with plenty of fine bubbles on pouring. Wonderful nose of lime, white peach, pear, lemon zest and passionfruit. The palate is fresh with baskets of fruit dominated by lime and passionfruit but balanced by a zesty acid spine and lovely grip. A wine still settling down with a million miles in front of it. Delicious !
