Vinetasters: 2001/2005 Joh. Jos. Prüm (Skokie, IL): #19-06, 7.5% abv. Massive amount of sponti and reduction on the nose here. Again, this is not showing well at all. It comes across as a little bit simple, right now, and while it's more than a pleasant drink, it's definitely not one that I would count as a winner tonight.

Honey yellow. Medium density, viscous, and fairly sweet. Beginning to develop secondary characteristics. Glad to have plenty to work through over the coming years.

Oily rich, petrol, slatey minerals. Zesty focused lemony pineapple fruit, citric spike of acidity, slippery with mineral subtext. [Perhaps subtle] yet quite concentrated, focused and lengthy. Simple, sunny, classy. (*+)
