This was quite yummy and drinkable. Somewhat soft and ripe, it was less evidently Chablis than one might hope. Served blind it didn't show Grand Cru stature, and was a bit disappointing next to a 2010 Fevre Cote de Bougerouts that absolutely rocked.

2019 Louis Michel etc. (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. Apple cider notes clearly point to a poxed wine. It didn't seem to get worse with air when we got back to it an hour or two later, but it still wasn't something worth drinking.

Dim sum at Triple Crown (Chicago, IL): Not too rich in texture and weight, despite the vintage, but certainly with the classic hallmarks of Chablis. The fruit does is a little buttery and sweet but there's plenty of steely minerality and acidity behind this. Good weight and complexity, if a little less than what I would want for a grand cru.

Floral, minty and spicy peach with almonds and lemons. This is fresh, complex and very delicious.

pineapple, flagstone, herbiness, almonds, nose morphs over time, earthy, round acidity, well-integrated, struck match, fresh flowers
