A worrying mid-gold; exotic nose, pineapple, kerosene; ripe, soft, plush even, off-dry; lots of character, spicy edge to a decent finish. Long. Safest to drink soon. More Pfalz than Alsatian.

Mid to full straw. Ripe fruit on the nose with a hint of petrol in the background. Mid weight entry, some viscocity, god ripe fruit, almost a hint of RS before finishing dry. More on the entry and mid-palate here than the finish. A nice, rather than thrilling, wine. Could do with a bit more zing and zip on the finish - loses its line slightly. Decent. ***

Bright yellow-gold. Gorgeous nose with petroleum, candied pergamont, honey and hints of exotic fruits like pineapple and passion fruit. Mid-full bodied with a beautiful honey-petroleum and fruits combination. Med-long, slightly herbal and vegetal finish. At its peak now. Would have scored even higher with a longer aftertaste without this vegetal element. In any case a great, nicely developed Alsace riesling from a great biodynamist winemaker.

may be on the way out. Petroleum notes, slight butter, and good structure remain, but where is the fruit? I think its time has come and gone.

On its way down. Yellow. Lost it's crispy minerality.
