  Decanted 6 hours in advance. Color more vibrant than expected. Nose shy at first but determined swirling coaxed very pleasant herbal notes. On the palate nicely balanced flavors, acidity & tannins - in a perfect place for a lighter Syrah from a challenging year. The flavors that persist on the finish are an absolute joy. With more time greater depth in both aroma and flavor come through.

  Nez discret, frais, un peu de cerises. Bouche d'une belle densité, c'est un vin droit, pas très complexe mais d'une très belle tenue en bouche. Belle fraîcheur, il semble lui aussi très jeune, mais avec beaucoup moins de profondeur que le 1994, il parait charmeur mais un peu simple. 89 pts
