Similar impressions to those in my 2018 and 2022 tasting notes, so I won't repeat the detail here. Reflecting the vintage, rich, ripe and full. Orchard and tropical fruit notes. The minerally, reduced quality of the wine, and the fresh acidity retained, balance the wine so that it is in no way too broad or overblown. The power and gravitas here suggests, to me anyway, Grand Cru. I don't think this Mouches blanc has the character to be among the longest lived for this cuvée, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 2015 was relatively long-lived, out to at least 2035+.

As in my 2018 tasting note, for me, this is a 2015 Burgundy blanc that transcends its (warm) vintage. Drunk over two days, during which it did not change. Mid gold, but no sign, at all, of premox. Pin point precision and acidity offsets, and balances, the rich and full flavours. Real depth and concentration. Peach, pear and almond paste with lemon citrus and touches of pineapple and passionfruit and mealy complexity. Chalky minerality and a deft hand with the oak. Alcohol 13.5% ABV. An attractive bouquet of lemon zest, pears, clotted cream and river gravel with a little jasmine perfume and some exotic fruit lift. I can see this Clos des Mouches Blanc drinking well out to 2035 and beyond.

Fabulous. Bright, plenty of lift and dry extract. Ripe orchard fruit. No hints of the vintage.

Apple, pineapple, some citrus and elevage notes (barrel), rich and mature, a certain sweetness, finally too much sunny impact.
