Black cherries, violets, black tea. Still very tight and needed some time to open up. Nice acidity and tannins. Probably didn't taste the best of it tonight but will revisit in a couple of years. Hold. 91/92

93 now. 93-94+ with time. Aroma of black raspberry a little jammy at first that opens up to a bit of baking spice and a little earth poking through in its earliest of days. On the palette was expansive and concentrated, without being overripe or unctuous, black fruit. Over time I felt the fruit became more red/bright.. again that black raspberry. Fine, rustic tannin that are not aggressive but are not silly. A dollop of gevrey spice and earth at the end with a black tea finish that coats the teeth. That earth and spice to me shouts gevrey.

Vinen er lett lilla i fargen med en markant lysere kant.
På nesen viser burgunderen en middels + intensitet der et dypt fint krydder preger vinen sammen med mørke lilla bær, jordsmonn, lakris, noe stalltoner, og trevirke.
På paletten er vinen konsentrert, men viser allikevel en elegant og delikat frukt som overhodet ikke føles for varm. Vinen vokser fint i vinen med flotte bringebær, skogsbær, lakris og med litt vel brent eik. Dette er en flott vin som trenger minst 10 år i kjelleren. www.botti.no
