Pale lemon colour still with flecks of green. The nose showed stonefruit, fresh lemon and lots of vanilla at first with cinnamon and hazelnut emerging after a few minutes. Palate matches the nose, though is more citric with a little bitter grapefruit pith. Real mineral zing here. I wasn't tasting any butteryness but thought there would have been some malo in a Marg River flagship, but apparently not! No rush here at all, could wait 5yrs to try the next bottle but I'll probably have one sooner than that 😄

Robert's Holiday Dinner at Margaux's Table (Margaux's Table, White Bear Lake, MN): Very pale green color. Drank a glass over an hour plus. The nose has stone fruit, pear, tons of stony minerality. The palate also shows the stone mineral notes, stone fruits, lemon-lime, vanilla, creamy, oak witha long citrus-lime finish. This showed more than a bottle a year ago and it was more prominent over the hour.
Robert's Holiday Party (Margaux's): This needs more bottle age....drinking well now, but will be better with a couple more years of age on it. Lots of pear, apple and some citrus, with notes of stone fruit, spice and wet stone. Good, but will be much better later. 93 now with possibly 2 additional points down the road. Can drink now, but I would recommend holding.

Drank over 4 nights. Very mineral. 4 days later, wow. Mellow, integrated. Just wonderful.
