Smells like sweet muscat, a bit of graphite and honey, mildly sweet with slight acidity, nice to drink, aged well, originally buttery when fresh but it's mellowed out. Drink now.

Easter Wines with Family (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light medium golden color. Small glass over 15 minutes. Poured this for my Aunt again who loved it. I found it more interesting now with some additional age on it. Golden delicious apple and pear notes, toffee, wood spice, hints of vanilla, medium body, quite drinkable. A nice quaffer.

Tasted before using most of this for a Beurre Blanc. Bright medium golden yellow. Nose/palate was vanilla/oak, butter and a touch of pineapple. Fairly low acidity, but pleasant enough for a pretty straightforward modern Lower end Chard. A bit short on the finish. Worked in the sauce just fine.

2014 is probably well past peak, but the malo notes didn’t offend me. Would buy again if I needed a “big-mouth” Chard at a great price.
