Beautiful bouquet with black and red berries as well as well dosed oak and sweet spices. Rustic in a lovely way. On the palate the same, Elegance, complexity and refinement. Good acidity and round tannin with a soft bite. Really delicious second wine which is in its early maturiy stage now.

The Grand Tour - day three (Bordeaux): Blackcurrant, red plums and juicy plums. Sweet spice and cedar with very slightly savoury/meaty notes. Generously fruit, easy and quaffable. Tannins are fine and the whole is balanced.

The second wine of Lascombes. Rather reduced. At least not an oak monster. So, in that sense, not bad. The "Parker" era is over.
