  Golden yellow in color,and bottom quarter of cork wet, but still good. This is a very nice chardonnay, different from last time I had it 2 years ago. Acidity nice and helped wine to get to this point. Everything in balance, no one component dominated over the others. Nicely done. Next day the acidity made this wine taste juicer, which I liked. Following day became more tart, and don't believe it held up. But day after that It was good again but no where like the first and second day. Lemon seems to be the dominant flavor. Chardonnay seems like it is always acidic to me, but this was done very well. A very good chard, one of the best I've had from West Coast. Worth buying again and i'd have these now.

  From magnum. Just an excellent bottle of wine. Sharp upfront notes upon opening. Also needed to be cooled a bit further. Beautiful after 30 min and cooler further. The wine was used to toast a close friend’s 24th anniversary of being cancer free. Perfect in all respects.

  Unfortunately, it was corked. Heavy on the nose, less so on the palate, which showed impressive substance and freshness. Could have been great.

  Part of a small Napa 2015 vintage horizontal, focusing on Realm and Bevan. My main observations were that 2015 is more extracted and ripe than 2014 or 2016, less elegant but with more weight. The wines were generally open and in a good spot, but still all primary. Tannin structures are soft
  
  Tasting note:
  This had a slight cork taint unfortunately or premox which pretty much erased the nose. The palate, however, was fresh and beautifully crisp with lots of citric flavors. My experience has been that the Care started off strong, went into a dumb phase in 2019-2020 and then came back in 2021. First faulty bottle I encountered, but the palate still suggested that a pristine bottle should be singing loud and clear today.
