PnP. Medium light greenish gold. Nose of citrus with a hint of orchard fruits. Rather light bodied without the usual roundness and tropical character of this vineyard. May need more time and air. So far a disappointing showing. This changed dramatically for the better with a day in the fridge; lovely viscosity, tropical fruits, all there. I may decant these in the future! On day 2 I would put this at 94.

PnP. Light greenish gold. Very complex on the nose and palate with citrus (tangerine), blood orange, tropical fruits (guava) and spice (sage?). It is the more savory notes that are most intriguing. I think this will be better in 5 years but it is very interesting now.

Terrific bottle. Brought with me for a dinner party at Niven in Rijswijk, Netherlands; it followed a Patrick Piuze Chablis Butteaux 2015, and brilliantly showed another facet of Chardonnay. Beautiful balance of acidity and fruit, fresh and youthful, already exhibiting secondary flavors. No doubt this will age well, but I felt no crime committed in drinking it this young.

Tasting: An oaked chardonnay. Nothing more, nothing less.
