From Mag, very pure Riesling nose and taste, not too oaky or sweet like some other Wachau Rieslings from this period - style reminds me rather a German GG. Excellent!

Utregs Wijnhuis proeverij Exclusief (Utrecht): [Tasted blind] Correctly identified as an Austrian riesling from Wachau. On the nose petrol, grapefruit, peach and as the wine warmed up also more exotic fruit. Comparable on the palate with a bit more herbs, almost sweet grapefruit, quite ripe. Long finish As always a lovely bottle from Knoll, from one of their vineyards I did not have before

Overripe stone fruit - nectarines, apricot, yellow peach. Yellow apple and ripe pear too. Full bodied, decent acid. Overall a very “big” wine. Feels like it’s from a warmer climate than it is.

Utregs Wijnhuis tasting Exclusief (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Additional bottle during the tasting. Great riesling, some development, but everything Austrian/Wachau riesling is all about
