I was speechless twice, first, just seeing this relic from the end of the war, and even more stunned on tasting the wine. WOW! The tobacco, mint, plum, truffle, spice, dried red fruit, and cigar box aromatics won me over. The layers of medium-bodied, sweet, tobacco, spice, and herb-filled, red fruits on the palate, with their elegant, silky refined, slightly salty touch were surreal and got even better with their length and purity. Keep in mind, that this is from a bottle opened at the chateau that has never moved, so your experience might vary. Though this bottle could age longer... Drink from 2023-2025.
