Beautiful crimson, bricking outward. Savory, dingy, earthy, oxidized goodness on the bouquet. Cherries, clay, and tomato leaf waft from the glass. Mid-bodied and completely integrated, the palate is plummy, fruity, and balanced, with a singed, decayed edge, and a medium long finish. I was hoping for more nuance and complexity but a solid wine nonetheless. Drink up.

2 glasses. Very good stuff. Has all the characters from Saint Emillion that I love. Dark purple, orange color on the rim. Great clay and perfume black currant, nose. Flavors are soft, smoked meat, little plum, black olive, blueberry. Nice chewy mouthfeel. Great mix of fruit and earth/clay. Would love to try again.

Great nose. Took about two hours to open up. Not the best wine I have ever had from this Chateau, but decent enough. Nothing real memorable to note.

Great nose. Somehow the rest was a bit underwhelming. Still very good
