AP#4. 8% alcohol. Lemon yellow; moderately aromatic, floral, white flowers, pear, lemon cream; palate is medium bodied, medium-plus acidity, off dry, low alcohol (8%), slight peach and pear but fruit fades through the midpalate; finish is short-medium. Nice riesling with good balance and really lovely acidity and character, but could use a bit more complexity and persistence on the palate. 89-90 After a bit of air, the floral bits on the nose are really the highlight here. Orange blossom, jasmine, lovely.

Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm with Dr Katharina Prüm (Zoom!): Youthful and elegant, but relatively rich on palate. Lovely balance between sugar and acid generates incredible juiciness and drinkability. Open and welcoming, but less rich than the Wehlehner Sonnenuhr Spat.

JJ Prum - 2016 range tasting (ChinChin Sydney): Floral, lemon cream, toast and orange peel. Clean and clear on the palate, with medium fruit weight and a mild mineral character that kicks things along nicely. Good flow and balance, not that much excitement but has potential to improve.

Was decent with Indian food but too sweet to be a sipping wine for me and thought it was still too sweet with the Indian food

Such a fantastic wine. Paired perfectly with spicy Thai food.
