  Starting to deepen in colour, darker lemon. Wondering if this may be in a slightly in between phase in terms of aromas/flavours presenting, perhaps worth leaving a bit longer. Quite complex and hard to describe in terms of aroma. Rich and full and quite tropical but with some petrichor and paraffin balancing this out. Plush palate, I can understand why some may criticise this as being too full or lacking definition though for me it just about treads the line. Great intensity and finish. If you’re looking for a razor-like, invigorating wine with line and purity this isn’t it, but it is delicious.

  I’m quite sad that I don’t have more bottles of this. Apricot, citrus, some honey, spice, and a hint of petrol. Excellent acidity. Nicely viscous and mouth filling. Very long finish that goes on for an age. Would surely age well but delicious now too.

  The fruit here is ripe apples and peach on the nose, and while there is certainly adequate acidity on the palate, the volume of fruit tends to mask it somewhat. Very good, with final judgement reserved until we eat 🤤
