  • I should say first of all that I got my 2001 and 2004 Cadence half bottles mixed up! I think this was a 2004. Dark garnet purple. Nose of currant, cedar, plum blossom, cassis, earth. Layers of heady black currant, plum, blackberry, and hints of tobacco on the vibrant palate. Moderate acidity and smooth, integrated tannin. Longer finish of fat plummy fruitgrounded in earth and granite. Fresh and integrated wine with years to go. Half bottle consumed at Boardman Marina and RV Park, OR

  • Darker garnet color. Nose of cassis, currant, plum blossom, earth. Integrated layers of dark plum, blackberry, currant, tobacco, and crushed stone on the palate. Nicely acidic. Fine-grained, smoothed tannin. Long finish of sweet red fruit, earth, iodine. A worthy drink, and quite satisfying. Half bottle.

  • Absolutely delicious, stunning even. Likely prime drinking right now.

  • Somewhat brick in color, subdued nose belies a full bodied cab Sauvignon with a med-long finish. Somewhat jammy, with current and cocoa on finish.

  • Drank over a two day period. First day opened bottle a let breathe a couple of hours but didn't decant. Should have because it remained tight until 2nd day when it really showed it's fruit and power. 91 based on second day and my laziness in not decanting 1st day.
