This singing right now. Glorious dark fruit, concentrated blackcurrant at the core. With depth and impressive length. Intense but balanced. Drink now or hold - many years to go on this one.

Far better on day two. This put on a lot of weight and depth and fruit in 24 hours of time corked in the fridge. Day one, this didn’t share much fruit- perhaps needed more time to open. Remember that for next time!

This opens with oodles of fresh blackcurrant, backed by creme de cassis and black raspberry. A tinge of earth follows to a definite and prolonged note of cocoa. The tannins have faded somewhat more than you might expect, leaving a relaxed but not sleepy wine. Drinking very well now.
