The textured, almost sculptured palate gives a lot of love. Enters precisely, runs down a medium deep groove, good intensity, through to a long, mineral, lip smacking finish. Touch of residual lends depth and tames those tarty, tingling Canberra acids. Still fresh and delicious.
Me thinks it will age gracefully, for a long while. None of the usual semi-mature Riesling notes expected at five years are showing. How long? Twenty or more, if well cared for of course.

Very good, could be headed to outstanding with age.
Drunk earlier than intended after a drop of the bottle caused possible damage to the screwcap.
Clear, pale, lemon. Clean, medium, youthful nose of lemon, apple, grapefruit and white flowers. Dry, medium (+) almost tingling / spritzy acidity, medium alcohol (12.5%), medium body and medium (+) flavour intensity with notes of lemon, grapefruit, apple and sherbet. Long finish.
Very good, with fruit intensity and the amount of acid indicating a very long life ahead, this could well head into outstanding territory should the honeyed notes I anticipate develop. Can drink now, for the light fruit forward appeal, but I suspect this will develop into something much more complex in 10 - 15 years time.
Screwcap (not damaged as it turned out).

Minerals, petroleum; Most complex Riesling I have had to date. My tasting winner, #1/6, 7 Oct 2022

I agree with the previous note. A beauty in the making. This vintage is an overlooked gem.
Pale gold. Scented nose, sour lemon, apple, pear skin, slatey even. Powdery bath salts.
