Clonakilla Dinner 2012 (Moon Under Water, Melbourne): Still very much a youthful wine. Intense, fruity nose. Lively dry palate with vibrant acid and fruit. No real signs of aging yet. Good length.

Floral and lime aromas. Very well balanced, long and tight. Very good and much better than a previously tried bottle.
Lots of fresh fruit, citrus peel and floral notes. Slightly sweet palate, seemed to be a bit flat and uninteresting, especially compared to the nose.
WSET Dinner - Certificate awarding (Edinburgh Hotel, Surry Hills): For a minute it masquerades as a gewurz, as rosewater & musk aromas leap from the glass. Softer acid than I’d expect from an ostensibly cool-climate wine. Spotlessly clean, light. Likely to be fairly short-lived, I reckon. QbA look-alike.
