Drinking nicely, showing some pleasurable aged Syrah notes. Well balanced. Good length. Not particulary complex or deep fruited, but enjoyable and well worth the price.

13% - Clear, med to deep purple / clean, med+ intensity - blackberry, redcurrant, dark chocolate, violet, meaty, smoke / dry, med+ refreshing acidity, med chewy tannin, med+ body, med+ intensity, persistent finish. Surprisingly approachable at this stage and a superb pairing with a lamb tajine, but this will be rewarding in a few years from now. 90(++)

Restaurant Le Vieux Sonneur, Die. Red berries and cherries, fresh and clean, already quite smooth, medium bodies and finish, a bit simple but well done. Drink within the next 4 to 6 years.
