Super serviceable. A workhorse. Nice merlotness combined with rarely expressive and strong tannins for a Merlot. Not sure how they did it, but I will take it. Modest fruitiness. Again, very solid.

Over manipulated Merlot. Notes of blackberry and an astringent charred oak. Drank like a one-dimensional over ripe Cab or Malbec. Initially had at the winery tasting and was impressed, but we were highly disappointed with the full bottle.
