  • The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and cranberry. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), oak and flint. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

  • Dégustation Château Potensac.
    Château 2010 (90), 2015 (89), 2017 (88), 2018 (88), 2019 (91)
    Chapelle 2015 (88), 2019 (87)

  • Deep ruby red with red brim. Slightly developed nose with notes of black currants and a touch of espresso beans. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly developed, with fine-grained tannins, good acidity and notes of black currants and a touch of green paprika and coffee.

Quite rustic style of Médoc here, yet still quite enjoyable, and I also think thta this will develop into something even better with five years or more in the bottle.

  • Decanted for 3 hours. Approachable and supple, nice black and red fruit, balanced oak and surprisingly well integrated tannins

  • Bright red fruit, pure, lifted, slightly spicy on the nose. Bright acidity on the palate, not overly generous with slightly angular tannins. Decent length. 87-89
