  Seemed to benefit from 2 hour decant and was surprisingly better than my previous notes. Rich, blackberry-raspberry, nicely settled and balanced with a pleasing finish.

  From a magnum. Gave it a good decant and aeration treatment for a few hours. Nose with tertiary characteristics, although seemed a little over the hill. Cherry predominant palate with good acidity. A bit rustic, and still very tannic.
  
  Wasn't crazy about this by any margin, and my guests weren't either. I think I was in a new world mood so that def affecting. Dunno what more time will do to this. Feel the fruit is fading but recent prior CTs suggest otherwise. Considering my other bottle is also a mag, I'll prob sit on this for a bit as I wasn't really wowed by it at this point.

  This wine is amazing, in such a great place. Decanted for 1 hour. A lot of red fruit flavors, velvet finish and a perfect balance. One of the best Brunello I drank in a while (and I am a BdM fan - about 20% of my cellar).
