  • Refine perfumed nose. Smooth, soft but lots of structure and acidity to make it stand upright. Tannic and complexity w. a slight stony minerality. Alcohol is a bit dominating. But overall very good.

    Keep.

  • Double decant needed. Even better on the second day. Dry and duty cherry flavors song with food. Medium body.

  • Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. Translucent medium to dark garnet. The nose is very fragrant with perfumed florals, spices and red berries. Medium acidity and medium(+) tannin. Well structured. Rich, chewy, unctuous texturally. Seems very dry but yet complex and with good depth of flavor especially chocolate covered cherry on the finish which is long and elegant. Balanced, bright, energetic and age-worthy. For me this seems like a wonderful wine and a stark contrast to the “normale”. This was one of the top wines of the tasting for me.
