Appearance: medium bright clear ruby colored, no gas or sediment.
Nose: medium/medium(+) intense aromas of raspberry and pumice. Strong oaking aromas of vanilla and baking spice.
Palate: dry, medium/medium(+) acid, medium(+) fine grained tannins, medium(+) bodied, smooth textured. Clean medium/medium(+) flavors of raspberry, graphite, with a little bit of herbal greenness. A medium-length red fruit and slightly chocolaty finish. Good balance and average complexity.
Nice red fruit and quite a bit of oak! The oak was a little overpowering, but the wine went well with Thanksgiving. Probably needs some more aging

Elegant nose of raspberry marmalade, clove, bitter herbs. It’s impressive how approachable it is at this young age. Great freshness upfront; red fruit with a bright acidity. A little green on the mid and great minerality on the finish.
