    Rubinrot, helle Ränder. Duftige Nase, würzige Noten, florale Töne, Veilchen, Kräuter, helle Frucht. Im Gaumen zugänglich, frisch, sehr schöne Frucht, feinkörniges Tannin, die Säure wirkt stimmig, das Holz ist sehr gut dosiert, langer Abgang, Himbeeren im Finale. Hochwertig, wenn auch nicht günstig. 2023-2038

    Merchant walkabout tasting of the 2021 burgundy vintage in bottle. I really liked this vintage, the wines were showing well. It is lighter and crisper than the 2020, more open at this stage and easier to drink, but there is no under-ripeness. Comparing it to recent vintages, I see it as a slightly cooler version of 2017. TN: Very nice showing, aromatically intense with well judge oak and polished mouth feel for Beaune 1er Cru.
