  Once again a very fine wine that more than lives up to its ranking as a cru grand bourgeois exceptionnel. Almost 90 points and a tremendous QPR!

  Château Belle-Vue Haut-Médoc CBE 2018 13.5% alc
  54% M / 26% CS / 18% PV / 1% CF / 1% Carmenère
  P&P bei zunächst 15°
  Der Wein springt buchstäblich wie eine Fruchtbombe in die Nase. Auch am Gaumen bei den ersten Schlucken ungemein fruchtig, als ob man einen Mund voll Beeren (Cassis und Ribisl, aber auch etwas Stachelbeere, und natürlich: kleine schwarze PV-Trauben!) hätte und in sie hineinbeißen würde.
  Mit der Zeit und bei leicht steigender Temperatur zeigt sich der Wein dann von einer ernsthafteren Seite. Es gesellen sich rosa canina und überhaupt Rosennoten dazu, frisches Schwarzbrot, dann auch Noten von Veilchen, die den Wein im hinteren Gaumen und gegen den (langen) Abgang hin klar in der Nähe von Margaux verorten. Eine ungemein knackige Säure und die noch sehr spürbaren, aber für einen CB hochklassigen Tannine, zusammen mit der Frische und dem maßvollen Alkohol versprechen jenseits der momentan noch extremen Zugänglichkeit durchaus ein Lagerpotenzial von ab dato 10+ Jahren. Aber ehrlich: solange dieser Wein sich nicht verschließt, sehe ich keinen Grund, ihn wegzusperren. Das ist ein Wein für den Weinkühler, wo er bereit liegen soll für alle Gelegenheiten, wo ein feiner Bdx, den (fast) jede(r) mögen wird, gefragt ist.
  Fast nicht überbietbares PLV für 17€/CHF! 91+

  Dark. Modern style. Very fruity. Gets a bit more complex with time with some coffee. Very juicy at first but also with some structure. Will be liked by many people.

  The melange of flowers, spice-box, cherries, wet earth and cocoa smells just great. On the palate, things get even better with all the sweet, fresh, energetic, juicy, ripe, soft, textured, red fruits, spice and herbs in the finish. One of the few Bordeaux produced using all 5 allowable grape varieties, the wine was made blending 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 20% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Carmenere.
