Part 1 Produttori del Barbaresco 2009 horizontal. White to start. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Screw-cap. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of yellow florals, flower nectar, ripe citrus lemon, ripe tropical melon, pineapple. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flaovur intensity, with flavours of pineapple, ripe tropical melon, sweet yellow flower nectar, butter. Long butter cream finish. Old school oaky Chardy. Lots of nice flavour but lacking acidity. Drink up.

Light shiny gold colour, lemon & slight struck match nose leads to low toast beautiful French oak contoured white peach and stone fruited wine with buttery notes - very well balanced. Young and yet to gain weight but mid palate is unctuous and yields length. Lovely wine

Excellent wine, great structure with a great use of oak. Stone fruits, kumquat and dried apple linger in the aftertaste, minerality and salinity on the initial taste. I think it’s ready to drink now, but can go a little further too if you like more secondary notes.

Seemed quite evolved (even colour a little golden) and rounded in flavour for age. Butter, honey, peach, melon, pineapple. Nice easy drinking and a rounded finish without heaviness though.

Delicious. Oak is well judged, more tension and complexity than expected, winner.
