  Fill into neck. Excellent capsule and cork. Decanted and served. Clear medium blood-ruby hue. Pungent, unpleasant bouquet of shoe polish nearly caused me to dump this and open another bottle. After an hour of aeration, the funk finally blew off, all of a sudden, to reveal ... a faded but drinkable, light-medium bodied wine with notes of underbrush and jammy red fruit. Still improving three hours later.
