  Full-bodied, though a bit austere. Earth and graphite, along with some mushrooms. A departure from the profile of most Easton zins.

  Medium dark ruby. Strong nose of coffee, cocoa, baking spices, and cherries. Behind those big aromas there is decomposing leaf, black pepper, and a bit of eucalyptus. Full bodied, medium high acidity, and juicy. Big juicy cherries, blackberries, and strawberries on the palate. Strong velvety tannins. Long spicy, mineral, cocoa, and herbal finish.
  
  This is big, bold, and has the legs to age much longer. If the older vintages we have consumed are any indication, a few more years will help this a lot.
