White flowers and ripe pear on the nose. Riper fruit and a rich mouthfeel. Definitely has more nectar character than any Muscadet I’ve had before. Still some nice acidity, and crushed shell notes in there too. The fruit sure has a hint of sweetness to it, that makes me want fried soft shell crab or spicy shrimp more than steamed mussels. I’d get this again in a heartbeat.

Salty nose with lemon and lime and quince, with chalk and sea spray. Pure and vibrant on the palate, a nice juicy, round texture is welcome, too. Honey and white flowers meet sea salt, crushed stones, minerals. Pretty, delicious, ripe but zesty.

Well made wine, with great backbone, a bit rounder than the regular Sèvre-et-Maine, but still with good underlying acidity. Perfect for an oyster roast.
