I drink a bottle of muscadet about every five years, so I don't really believe I have a good basis for evaluating this wine vis a vis typicity. However, as wine goes, this is pretty good and well worth the money.
I enjoyed this bottle tonight with a small dinner Brookie prepared a couple of hours ago. Baked beans, new potatoes, chicken breast, all cold. The wine is refreshing, light, and very enjoyable. I see this as a before dinner drink, as I am not a seafood fan. Green apples, salty, very slight grapefruit.

Enjoyed over two days and I slightly preferred on day 1 as the wine was more bright. Classic muscadet notes of saline but slightly plush as the fruit leaned tropical. A bit rounder on the palate also then one would expect but with enough acid to satisfy.

While this is pretty good, it doesn't have the cut or the depth of the Briords or some of the other top wines of Muscadet. Somewhat "round" on the palate.

Still has those classic salty, oceanic notes, but there's a lot of juicy, tropical notes and some richness in here as well. Plushness combines with that Pepiere focus. Yum.

Rather sweet; light and pleasant; soft acidity.
