Not a Dom. de la Pépière bottling I've had before, and in fact I bought it on the strength of the Dressner strip before realizing who the producer was (in CNY you takes what you can gets). Very nicely done, richer and rounder than the Briords, which was our go-to for a decade and a half, enough so that A said she wouldn't have called it as Muscadet, though I think the crushed-seashell and citrus signature would have been hard to mistake. The extra richness doesn't really add any weight (I mean that as a good thing), and this works well with a weeknight tinned-salmon, caper, dill, and crème frâiche pasta. Buy again for sure.

Paired with fresh blue crabs. Lovely, citrusy lime, saline and green herbs. Bright acidity, this is up for the best value WOTY. So tasty, so so tasty. Drink through 2025+. Sooner than later, IMHO.

Flavors of lemon, yellow apples and chalk. There’s a wonderfully rounded mouthfeel and crisp acidity. Lovely wine that is drinking well now, but it should also improve with short term aging.

Delicious, bright Muscadet. Not as much depth or complexity as the Fiacre Crus Communeaux, but not far behind.

5th bottle from a case.
Lovely, mineral-driven, lime zest and chalk.
Brilliant WFTM.
