Christophe’s Mazoyeres offers a step up in concentration and depth than his Charmes Chambertin. 1 hectare vineyard with 65 year old vines. A gorgeous bouquet of sandalwood mixed with summer flowers. Densely packed mixed berries and refined earthy spices. Full bodied with linear acidity. A really well crafted Mazoyeres Chambertin. (93/100)

It is dark fruit driven. At this point of the evolution, the grand cru concentration is not shown yet. Drinks like a village or prem cru at best.
