  • Tasted blind. Quite interesting nose with dark berries and cigar smoke. A bit too sweet and plump on the palate with soft tannins and a good amount of dark fruit on the palate. Medium finish. I liked the nose quite a bit, but didn't care too much for the palate.

  • BLACKBERRIES AND DRIED PLUMS IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR WITH HINTS OF LICORICE AND EARTHINESS. MEDIUM LENGTH FINISH

  • Crumbly cork removed in many pieces. Wine poured through screen and allowed to breathe in glass 30 minutes before tasting. Clear deep dark garnet color. Nice bouquet of blackberries, creme de cassis, forest floor, fennel, dill, meat juice and tobacco. Similar on the palate, full body, nice finish. Held up under vacuum stopper for three days, picking up pleasant notes of toffee on the last night.

  • Still youth fully darkly pig'd with no coaxing necessary nose of blackberry and flowers with hints of cedar and graphite all of which followed through on still spicy tannins. For those still holding in a cool cellar no need to wait but no hurries either

  • Allowed to breathe in glass 30 minutes before tasting. Reticent bouquet of creme de cassis, forest floor, with background notes of tobacco, roast game, dark spice, and eucalyptus. Similar on the palate, full-bodied with medium finish. Bouquet remained subdued over two hours and was about the same 24 hours later under vacuum stopper.
