Medium straw. Nose of mango, pineapple, tropical fruits, with some floral notes. Rounded mouth feel with refreshing acidity. On the palate, it is complex and refined. Finish is long, with ripe fruit, honey, and floral notes. The rich and gorgeous aroma plus its complexity make this Spatlese tastes like an Auslese. It is actually better than many Auslese from other estates I had tasted. 95-96.

Audouze for an hour. Bursting from the glass with pear and slate. Palate is focused and precise. Perfect balance of fruit and minerality with an acid backbone. Everything is in balance here. It's so hard to pay these premiums over the Prum, but when it shows this incredible level of precision, it's more than worth it.

Elderberry, pineapple, apple, and a long delicious continuous finish that grows over time. Intense focus and clarity. Damn good.

Out of this world. So intense, vibrant, yet relaxed, a true nobelman here. Minerals at the core, citrus at the end.
