  • Pale, translucent ruby. A pretty but quite straightforward nose offers aromas of fresh red cherries, currant preserves, purple roses, brown sugar, loam and toast. Medium bodied on the palate with medium+ acid and a medium- level of soft, easy tannins. People sometimes suggest that Gelin tastes like New World Pinot Noir; judging by this wine, that claim doesn't make a lot of sense. This bottle drinks like Burgundy, just one made in a fruit-driven, soft style.
