Delicious, well developed, very refund and smooth. Extremely interesting 100% Merlot wine. Subtle and delightful in every way, yet paired extremely well with boeuf bourgogne.

Weekly tasting group #208; Old world 2006; an overview. (@ VD): Beautiful bouquet with dark and red berries, sweet spices and vanilla. On the palate blackcurrants, green herbs, spices, some bell pepper, minerals, vanilla and chocolate. Firm but good acidity and round tannin. The finish is not extremely long, but overall this is an excellent wine. Young maturity stage now and can age until the end of the decade or possibly a bit longer. 90 – 91
