Missed the influence of volcanic soil when I first tried this wine, but loving it today! Great fruit, but it’s the minerality that’s grabbing me this time. Slightly peachy but with the brightness of citrus, and flintiness from the volcanic soil. This wine will be great with grilled seafood and will be my new go-to for Fiano rotation. 13% ABV, According to the bottle “ good with Asian cuisine and grilled fish” and I completely agree!

Pale lemon color with green reflections. It show honeydew, peach, orange peel, orange blossom and a hint of hazelnut aromas. On the palate it's between medium and full bodied with a appealing waxy texture and brisk acidity with white peach, pear, honeydew, and mandarin orange flavors. 13.5% abv|SRP-$28

Retail $26. Under DIAM3. 100% Fiano. As with just about everyone who tastes a bunch of wine, I am firmly in the camp that I should be trying a lot more Fiano. Every time I pop a cork of this variety found primarily in Campania and Sicily, I swear I'm going to get more of it. Pale straw in the glass with lemon, lime, and green apple on the nose. The palate is bright and focused with lovely balance between the fruit and the tartness and an added mineral aspect that really comes through on the finish. Excellent.
